О проекте

Параллельно с криптовалютным кошельком Guarda Bitcoin Gold было необходимо развернуть блокэксплорер, так как к моменту запуска блокчейна Bitcoin Gold в комьюнити еще не было готовых решений.

Задачи

Являясь хардфорком Bitcoin, блокчейн Bitcoin Gold тянет все предшествующие форку блоки BTC. Нам было нужно развернуть эксплорер, который бы синхронизировался с сетью как можно быстрее — на программирование и сихронизацию блокэксплорера с сетью заказчик выделил всего 3 недели.

Решение

Для решения задачи быстрой синхронизации нам пришлось рассмотреть различные возможные варианты: изучив множество инструментов и технологий, мы в конце концов остановились на популярном insight-api. Наш блокэксплорер Bitcoin Gold использует апи-сервер insight-api, обращающийся к BitCore ноде BTG, плюс форк интерфейса insight-ui. Последний мы кастомизировали и расширили. На синхронизацию блокэксплорера с сетью потребовалось несколько дней.
